Jim Keaney is a Senior Associate Attorney with Dolley Law, LLC. Mr. Keaney represents and counsels individual and corporate clients on a variety of complex labor and employment law issues in state and federal courts throughout the State of Missouri. His practice primarily includes individual and class- or collective-based wage and hour litigation under federal and state laws, workplace discrimination and retaliation litigation, employment contract consulting and litigation, restrictive covenant consulting and litigation, professional licensing defense, and appellate work.
Community Involvement
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Keaney served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Richard Teitelman at the Missouri Supreme Court. During law school, Mr. Keaney interned at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri in the Volunteer Lawyering Program and worked at a small, highly regarded St. Louis firm focused on representing individual and corporate clients in a variety of complex civil and criminal matters. Mr. Keaney previously served on the Board of Children of Africa Fund for Social Mobility, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that raised money to provide educational resources to children at the Royal Seed orphanage in Ofaakor, Ghana.
Education
Mr. Keaney received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in philosophy from Dartmouth College. Jim received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he served on the Public Service Advisory Board and the Washington University Journal of Law and Public Policy.
