Attorney Mark Obermeyer

Mark Obermeyer is a Senior Associate in the Law Offices of Kevin J. Dolley, LLC, St. Louis, Missouri office. Mr. Obermeyer is a cross-practice member of the firm's Labor and Employment Practice group and is a team leader of the Trust and Estate Practice. Mr. Obermeyer advises clients on a variety of individual, class-based and complex employment law issues primarily in Missouri state and federal courts. His labor and employment practice includes Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime, misclassification and minimum wage litigation, wage and hour, class action, employment contracts, non-competition, trade secret, unfair competition, confidentiality agreements, and administrative law and professional licensing defense involving professional boards in the State of Missouri.

Mr. Obermeyer's sub-specialty outside of the firm's traditional labor and employment practice involves advising clients across the wide spectrum of elder law and estate planning. Mr. Obermeyer's practice includes drafting wills and trusts, financial planning, probate administration, and representing clients in litigation involving the administration of wills and trusts. He draws on his first-hand experience with the probate process learned while working with the St. Louis County and St. Louis City Probate Court Commissioners and staff attorneys.

Community Involvement

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Obermeyer was a SLU Law Plus Law Clerk for Commissioner Kimberly Coon at the St. Louis County Probate Court, 21st Judicial Circuit of Missouri. Mr. Obermeyer also worked closely with Commissioner Patrick Conaghan at the St. Louis City Probate Court, 22nd Judicial Circuit of Missouri as a legal advisor.


Mr. Obermeyer received his Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in History from Washington University in St. Louis. Mark received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he served as a staff member and editor on the Saint Louis University Law Journal.
