Recent Success
Daugherty v. City of Maryland Heights, $775,000, Missouri Supreme Court. The case was brought under the Missouri Human Rights Act on behalf of a 59 year-old former police captain with the City of Maryland Heights alleging discrimination on the basis of age and disability discrimination. The Law Offices of Kevin J. Dolley developed and successfully argued before the Missouri Supreme Court the adoption of the "contributing factor" standard in Missouri employment discrimination cases.
Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 15 v. City of Jennings, St. Louis County, Judge Vincent (August 2008).
This case successfully established the constitutional right to collective bargaining for police officers and obtained the first collective bargaining framework under the Missouri constitutional standard for collective bargaining.
